I enjoyed reading The Owl Clubs - List about Me so much, that I thought I would join in and share a snapshot of what's going on for me right now. Above is my eight year old jumping off a dock into a mountain lake (at the very top of the mountain) for the very first time without fear. It is currently my favorite moment as summer winds down and the seasons shift. This summer has been about experiences both repeated... and very first time moments.
Making : Seven custom paintings for a bank in Woodstock New York, A larger than life crochet pillow cover, Small Magnolia Painting, and Happy Mail
Cooking : Good food made from farm market finds - and jarring them up for the winter ahead.
Drinking : Woodchuck Hard Apple Cider, Coffee, and unsweetened iced tea
Reading: The Red Book by Sara Beak
Wanting: My new farm house and privacy without worry (NOW)
Looking: To the trees as the leaves start to turn and wildflowers start to fade.
Playing: With texture and layers in my artwork.
Wasting: Too much time on my phone but working on letting it sit idle
Sewing: A Quilt for each of my three boys
Wishing: My house would sell ASAP (like now) - (like yesterday or last week or a month ago)
Enjoying: Hiking every weekend with all of my boys both big and small
Waiting: for that one person to walk in and say YES
Liking: Learning how to mount insects
Wondering: Where are path leads in the next few months
Loving: Myself more and more and not being afraid to be ME
Hoping: Everything goes like I imagine.
Marvelling: At this summers growth in my children
Needing: More free time alone for painting and not parenting
Smelling: Our butterfly bush each time we pass
Wearing: Cozy pants, a simple tee, and pigtails
Following: The universal signs that appear to me and recognizing them when they do so
Noticing: That time really does fly
Knowing: That everything will work out
Thinking: About future endeavours such as possibly painting/writing my own children's book
Feeling: Happy - Honestly and genuinely content
Bookmarking: Crochet Patterns
Opening: My heart only to those who deserve it and will be careful with it.
Giggling: At little boys who do silly things and my hubby who does silly things too.
Feeling: Like I finally have my feet on the ground and I know where I'm going.
If you too would like to create one of these lists for yourself either to see where you are presently, or as a blogger looking for a fun post, here below is a blank version for all your copying and pasting glory.
