I have been very very busy producing lots of shrink film jewelry. As mentioned the yesterday in this post about surviving a creative rut.. a suggestion of mine is to change mediums. It's a great way of rejuvenating inspiration and getting yourself back in your creating groove.
Take a look at what I made and what is in the process of being completed! The other day I showed you a beautiful necklace inspired by spring and from there it just flowed. Everything about these items are handmade... hand drawn - then colored/outlined, cut, shrunk and crafted with jewelry materials. All the crystals you see are lovely swavorski crystals. The colors and the way light reflects in these crystal beads is truly exquisite! I have a new favorite bead for sure!

And yet to be... these are completed but have yet to go onto necklace chains. You can see in the first ones I did some free form and color play!
Next step is cutting individual cardstock so that each item can be attached, then I will be placing a nice and neat little sticker on the back with all my info!
Should look quite proffesional when they are completed. Oh and I nearly forgot to tell you that I have packaged up a set of my handmade art/mixed media jewelry to send off to Somerset Studio's sister magazine called Belle Armoire Jewelry!
I will be taking all of these on an upcoming vacation to Connecticut with my family. Spring break is but four days away, then Easter... and off we go! I am hoping (fingers crossed) that some boutiques and shops will be interested in these items. If not, no biggie! into the Etsy shop they go where you can view and perhaps purchase one of your own :)
Have you entered my giveaway?? it ends this week and you don't want to miss out on your chance to win an original custom portrait by me do you? I didn't think so! enter here :)
