So as you know if you have been reading along the past few months, a friend of mine forwarded me an email about participating in the Art of the Heirloom art show in California. Work was to be completed by July 31st, emailed to someone on the board, and then juried to decide if the piece would be hung and accepted by the show.
This is the piece I submitted. It's my favorite piece to date. Most detail, most time spent on it... it's a treasure to me.

ACCEPTED!
Yay!! I am so excited! This piece is to be wired, safely packaged, and mailed off to California this week! If you are interested in reading about the show you may do so here. A huge hug and thanks to my friend Adrienne for bringing this opportunity to my attention. She told me I could do it, and she was right!
Now, does someone who lives in California want to go to the expo... visit the art of the heirloom exhibit and photograph my piece hanging up??
