New Glasses What Fun

 

I love new glasses... I do. The eye doctor for me is like being a little kid in a candy shop. In fact,  if it were financially possible I would have multiple pairs... and I mean like 20 pairs or more, so that each day  I could choose one that fit my mood and or outfit. Just call me Elton John, that lucky bastard with his closet full of shades! Did you know he has 250,000 pairs!? I know!! L-U-C-K-Y!!

( Yes, I googled that... mind your beeswax :P )

So anywho, when the hubby said what do you want for your birthday (It's soon, the 2nd of September, the big 3-0)... I thought about it for a few days and said "new glasses!"... and being the loved wife I am he said go ahead baby make an appointment!

Soooooo yesterday the oldest boy child had an eye doctors appt. and guess what?  they were able to fit me in too.  So we had some fun!

 

 

Even my silly little man got in on the action with his outgoing mama! You know, cause making silly faces in public while people watch is fun!

 

 

I knew I wanted a bigger, funkier, louder pair of glasses... so I tried a bunch on, texted some friends for their opinion (Oh, and the hubster too)  and in the end chose these...

 

 

Sweet right? YES! I looooooove them, and know what I love even better? seeing clearly! No more getting all up on my artwork... I swear the day of the dead skulls I was working on yesterday asked me to brush my teeth! But anywho, every girl needs their very first something Juicy Couture... and these are it! By the way, they have an itsy bitsy heart on the arm in gold, which is so appropriate if you ask me!
